Amy, another great site! I love Grammar Girl! I saw her on Oprah once but never thought about visiting her website. She makes grammar seem so easy. She helped me finally understand the difference between affect and effect. I won’t probably use this website with my students (it would be a little over their heads), but I’m keeping for me. I am such a dork for this stuff! (Like Eats, Shoots, and Leaves, Merriam-Webster's Word of the Day…) This is a definite winner for my Favorites!
Well, I had to go and check out the generic singular pronoun podcast because I am always confused about when to use he, she or he/she. What a great site for students to listen to when unsure with their writing and I will pass this site on to them.
Grammar Girl is so cool! I don't think I can use it with young students but I can surely use it myself! It also helped me see what a pocast was. I viewed my first.
